Sometimes you've just got to get stuff done!

It can be really hard to find the motivation, and sometimes it just doesn't come.

This can be for lots of reasons, most relate to a lack of connect to your why.

Why you are doing what you are doing, what the reason is. Maybe, in some instances, you can consider what the bigger picture is - the overarching theme as to why you are trudging though those tasks...

Or maybe you can't face even starting.

It can all feel far too much. And so we all need tips and techniques to help us to see the wood from the trees.

  1. Start with a list, get everything that is in your mind, out. It will look much more manageable on paper

  2. Decide which tasks you can delegate, which are for now, which are for later

  3. Think about how much time you have between appointments, and if there are any quick wins, tasks you can get done in that 10 mins free time

  4. Reduce distractions, I mean it! No notifications, no phone, no email. Complete focus.

  5. Build in rest, this is really important. It can be tempting to just plow on with a task, but you will be far more efficient if you have a little break between tasks. Aim for 5 mins every hour.

And remember, you've got this.

You can get that stuff done!
